Updates

I've gotten a lot of questions from friends and family regarding the slew of media coverage of the "new" CCAA regulations. First and foremost, I want to assure everybody that none of the "new" regulations affect us in any way. Even if they did, it is expected that all families with LIDs prior to 5/1/07 will be grandfathered in, as the CCAA has a history of doing just this. In addition, there is a lot of speculation (and it's just that---speculation) that these regulations were put into place in order to control the wait times. As of yet, we still don't know how long that will be for us, but we are preparing to settle in for quite a wait. There has been a lot of coverage in the past few days about "tougher" restrictions that could "shorten the wait", but for now, we're prepared to sit back and see how it all plays out. Just thought you'd want to know....:)
